First Day

So I'm new at this whole 'blogging' thing, but I'm really excited.
A little about me; I write, and I tell you this right off the bat, because I assume that's what most of this blog will eventually turn into. I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a Christian, the girl in the back of class who won't stop laughing, a text addict, a best friend, ect. I play many roles, but at the end of the day I stay true to myself =)

So last night was the Superbowl, yeah good job Saints. But as I laid in bed last night and thought of all the money that was spent on tickets, beer, commercials, the Who, team jerseys, the t-shirts at the end that had the Saints winning on them, I couldn't stop myself from thinking 'wouldn't it be amazing if some of that money went to Haiti?' Now keep in mind I truly don't know that it didn't, and I hope some of the proceeds did contribute to the country, but if it didn't happen I sincerely feel bad for the money we're spending on a football game, rather than a country in a desperate time of need.

Last but not least, the name of this blog is 'simply amazing'. I choose this due to the fact for the moments in life that take your breath away, the unanswered prayers when you realize God really was listening and didn't respond for a reason, and all the moments in between that we so often take advantage of. They are all simply amazing!
